Rubber Bung 22-24mm with 10mm Allthread
The Rubber Bung 22-24mm with 10mm Allthread is a practical and reliable fixing solution, ideal for creating custom lighting projects and securely mounting lampholders into bottles, ceramic bases, and decorative items with openings between 22mm and 24mm in diameter.
Featuring a durable 10mm threaded rod, this rubber bung allows you to easily attach a compatible 10mm lampholder or a variety of other lighting components and fixings. The adjustable rubber design expands when tightening the nut on top of the bung, helping create a firm and dependable hold. A nut cover can then be used to cover this nut, which are available in all the colours in our range to match your lampholder option.

There is room on the bottom of the bung for a female cord grip to be added but it will spin when the bung is tightened up. The bung is hollow through the centre, and this will allow a cable with the max outside diameter of 6.8mm to fit through, alternatively you can use a side entry cord grip.
How to Tighten this Bung:
In order to tighten the bung and therefore adjust the diameter of the bung, you must first use a spanner to tighten the 10mm nut on top (image 1) to roughly the size of your opening, then push the bung into the opening ensuring a snug fit (image 2), once the bung is in place you will then need to tighten the bung again so that it is secure (image 3), finally you can check the bung is secure by pulling up on the bung (image 4) and it should stay in place.
