Kit 32 Installation Guide

This step by step guide is to aid you in installing our kit 32.

Below is a video on how to install and tighten the bung into your bottle.

  1. Install the bung as shown in the video above.

  2. Take the bung cover and place it over the thread of the bung.

Then follow up with screwing the side entry cord grip onto the thread of the bung.

  3. Loosen the black nylon grub screw from the cord grip, it maybe easier to fully remove.

Take the cable cord set and push it through the side entry cord grip as shown in the image.

Do not tighten the grub screw up yet, leave this until the very end.

  4. Separate the lampholder into its 5 components, as shown above.

Then take the cap and slide it over the cable, and then screw it onto the bung's thread.

Note: you may need to loosen the lock screw in the bottom of the cap, as shown in the image.

Once the cap has been installed, then tighten that locking screw up inside the lampholder cap, this will lock the lampholder onto the side entry cord grip.

  5. Connect the earth wire (Green/yellow) onto the earth block, ensuring the wire does not stick too far out, if it does, you can trim it off flush with the block.

  6. Connect the Neutral (Blue) and Live (Brown) to the connectors on the connection unit.

It does not matter which way around the wires go.

Ensure the wires do not stick out the other end (where the light bulb goes) as this could short the light bulb and create a fault.

  7. Carefully seat the connection unit into the cap of the landholder, ensuring no cables are trapped.

  8. Once the connection unit is seated, take the skirt and place it over the top.

Then place the lock ring (thicker ring) over and tighten this up, this will lock the skirt onto the cap.

Take note of the indents, these MUST align up, if not the light bulb will not work.

More information on how the align the lampholder can be found here.
