This Gooseneck has a 10mm male thread either end of the Gooseneck, which is the ideal solution for screwing directly into a 10mm lampholder and the other end could be put through a ceiling plate and secured with a 10mm nut.
Please Note: The Internal Diameter of this item is 5.5mm, we recommend a MAX cable diameter of 5mm.
Alternatively, you can strip the outer jacket from the PVC/ Braided Cable to reduce the thickness of the cable.
Or you can use single cables, such as our chandelier wire, and join them in the lamp base (if you have one).
You can also just pass the live and neutral through the item, but earth it in the base, as long as you have earth continuity going through the gooseneck then you can just connect the live and neutral into the metal Lampholder.
