BC | B22 | Bayonet Cap Brass Un-Switched Lampholder 10mm Entry
This BC | B22 | Bayonet Cap Brass Un-Switched Lampholder with 10mm Entry is an ideal replacement for restoring a sentimental table lamp or creating a light fitting of your own design. It screws directly onto any standard 10mm male thread, including our wooden fixing kit, bungs, threaded rods and more, making it easy to assemble a wide range of custom lighting fittings.
This lampholder comes in 4 parts comprising of the cap which comes complete with the Earth tag on the side and is the section that screws onto the fixing of the light fitting (or cord grip for a pendant lamp), the centre connection unit where you will connect the live (Brown) and neutral (Blue) wires, then the top section which will screw over the connection unit and onto the cap. Not to forget the locking ring (Thicker Ring) that holds the cap and skirt together and the shade ring (Thinner Ring) that allows you to clamp a shade onto this lampholder.
Important Information Regarding This Lampholder
This is a threaded lampholder meaning you can attach a shade. To fit a shade, place the shade carrier ring onto the lampholder above the skirt, then screw on the shade ring. This securely clamps the shade in place.
Min Shade Hole Size: 26mm
Max Shade Hole Size: 32mm
Due to this lampholder being metal it will require a 3 Core cable to Earth the lampholder.
