Terms and Conditions

In these Conditions the following words shall have the following meanings

The Buyer/You:

The person(s), firm or Company who purchases the Goods from the Company

The Company/We:

Margin Services Ltd. (trading as Lampspares)


Any Contract between the Company and the Buyer for the sale of the Goods, incorporating these Conditions


Any goods agreed in the Contract to be supplied to the Buyer by the Company (including any part or parts of them)



Delivery Time: 2-5 working days from dispatch (Royal Mail dependent)

Standard UK Mainland delivery charges are below.
Delivery charges

  • Tracked 48 - £3.49 (2-3 Working Days)
  • Tracked 24 - £4.99 (1-2 Working days)

We use Royal Mail Tracked for most orders but may use a courier at our discretion.

Due to the rising costs with royal mail we aim to keep our costs to a minimum. We do use a tracked service on all items and along with the payment processing fees and packaging materials our postage costs just cover these so we do not profit on any postage cost.

We process and dispatch orders Monday to Friday we do not process or dispatch orders on the weekends, Any order placed over the weekend will be processed on Monday or Tuesday depending how busy we are.

Returns Policy

Under the European Distance Selling Regulations the Buyer has the right to cancel the order for any item purchased on this web site for a full refund up to 14 working days starting the day after delivery. 
To cancel the Buyer must e-mail or write to the Company within seven working days starting the day after delivery of the item(s) quoting your order number. The Buyer is obliged to take reasonable care of the items and return it in an unused condition with the original packaging and accompanied by the original receipt. The Buyer is obliged to return the goods at their own cost within 30 days; the Company will not refund this cost. The Buyer is responsible for the goods until they are back in the possession of the Company, the Buyer must claim for any damages caused on the return, from the courier used. If the goods are not returned in an unused condition then the right to a full refund is forfeited. The product packaging must also be returned reasonably intact condition.
When returning items that are deemed to be faulty, the Buyer must contact the Company by telephone, prior to sending the articles back and obtain instructions and an authorised return reference from the sales staff. We will only reimburse £2.50 of the returns shipping cost if you have sent the item back either before us sending you a free returns label, Or if you have contacted us after sending the item back, This is regardless of your cost of returns postage.

The Company shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow manufacturers instructions, misuse, alteration or repair of the goods (other than that done by our staff).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. 

All orders are subject to availability at all times.
We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order on the site.
We are not responsible for any delay in delivery caused by the unavailability of someone to take delivery of the products. It is your responsibility to contact the post office or courier company as applicable to arrange the collection or delivery of products that could not be delivered because you were unavailable.

Payment for goods can be made by one of the following payment methods.

  • Debit Cards
  • Amazon Pay
  • BACS - Please call for this option.

Please Note: Due to international BACS charges any international BACS order will have a £7 payment fee added to the order.

Pricing include VAT but does not include delivery costs.
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if, for example:
we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
we do not deliver to your area;
or one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typo error or an error in the pricing information received by us from the suppliers.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit or debit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you and we have received clear funds in full payment for the goods. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
We are not responsible if you cannot access the site properly or at all because of any event outside our control, for example (without limitation) the performance of your or our ISP, your browser or the internet.
This site relies in part on software to work. Whilst we will monitor the site, we cannot guarantee that the site or any individual feature of the site will be error free, available all the time and/or free from viruses. It is your responsibility to implement appropriate IT security safeguards (including anti-virus and other security checks) to satisfy your particular requirements as to the safety and reliability of content. 
Trade Account 
We offer tiered trade account discounts for traders:
  • Upto £200 = 5% Discount
  • Upto £600 = 6% Discount 
  • Upto £700 = 7% Discount
  • Upto £800 = 8% Discount
  • Upto £900 = 9% Discount
  • Upto £1000 = 10% Discount    
We require you to fill out a sign up form and send it back to us via the contact us page, it is down to our discretion to approve or disapprove your request.
We do not need to give you a reason for disproving your account and we can remove your discount account at any time without warning if we feel required to.
The discount is applied at the basket level and does include a discount on already bulk discounted items.
We cannot produce manual orders over the phone for trade account customers, as this is an online account only.
The trade account is associated to the traders email account only and we cannot add any other email but we can change the email if requested.
The Trade account is available for traders who have spend a minimum of £200 with us in either 1 order or several orders.We cannot open trader accounts for people who have no purchase history with us. 

All of our products are covered under the manufacturer warranty and the Company will endeavour to transfer to the Buyer the benefit of any Warranty or Guarantee given to the Company. Please note that due to the nature of some of the products they are classed as consumables and are affected by use, care and fitting. Items that fall into this category are belts, filters, bags, tools and brush rollers etc. These items may not be covered by any warranty period.

Faulty goods within 28 days - will be replaced by Lampspares.
Faulty goods over 28 days - Lampspares will contact the manufacturer as each have their own policy’s on how to proceed.

Custom Made Cables

All of our custom made cables are non returnable as these are specially made.Unless we have made the error in making the custom cable or there is a problem with the cable itself, if this is the case please contact us to arrange a replacement.
